As a California resident, I’m always looking for ways to make my trips to California Adventure easier and more convenient. One of the questions I often get asked is, “Does California Adventure take Apple Pay?” The answer is yes! Apple Pay is an accepted form of payment at all of the stores, restaurants, and ticket booths at California Adventure.
Using Apple Pay at California Adventure has many benefits. It’s a secure and convenient way to pay for your purchases without having to worry about carrying cash or credit cards. All you need is your iPhone or Apple Watch and you can easily pay with just a tap of your finger. You don’t have to worry about entering any personal information or security codes as all transactions are encrypted using the latest technology.
How does it work? When you are ready to pay, simply hold your device near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID or double-click the side button on your Apple Watch. Your default card will appear on the screen and you can choose which one you want to use for payment. You will then receive a notification confirming your purchase and can view it in your wallet app later on if needed.
While using Apple Pay at California Adventure is certainly convenient, there are some potential drawbacks that should be noted. For instance, not all vendors accept this payment method so you may have to carry cash or use another form of payment if they don’t accept it. Additionally, some vendors may charge an additional fee for using this method so it’s important to check with them prior to making a purchase.
In addition to Apple Pay, other forms of payment accepted at California Adventure include cash, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, Disney gift cards, and Disney MagicBands (for select locations only).
I recently used my Apple Pay when I went on a trip to California Adventure with my family last month. It was incredibly easy and convenient – all I had to do was hold my phone up against the reader and we were good to go! We also used our Disney gift cards when we went shopping in Downtown Disney which was equally as easy – just swipe them at checkout!
Another time I used my Apple Pay was when we got tickets for World of Color show at Paradise Pier – all I had to do was hold up my phone against the reader and it automatically charged me for our tickets without having to enter any personal information or security codes! It was such a breeze compared to standing in line waiting for someone else ahead of us who had difficulty paying with their card!
Finally, when we went out for dinner one night at Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land we were able to quickly pay our bill by simply tapping our phones against the reader – no need for us fumble around with cash or wait in line while someone else paid their bill!
Overall using Apple Pay at California Adventure is a great way to make purchases quickly and securely without having to worry about carrying cash or entering personal information into each transaction. In addition, other forms of payment such as major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express), debit cards, Disney gift cards & MagicBands are also accepted here so there are plenty of options available depending on what works best for you!
