Venmo has quickly become one of the most popular ways to pay for things. It’s easy to use, and you can send money instantly with just a few taps on your phone. But what about Apple?
Does Apple Take Venmo? Apple does not take Venmo as a form of payment. Apple recommends using Apple Pay to make purchases.
For those of you who are hoping to use Venmo as a way to purchase an Apple product, sorry. You’ll have to find another route for now because the company does not accept this form of payment at all.
Why?
We’re not entirely sure but we can’t imagine that it’s due to any sort of dislike or disdain they might feel towards Venmo so maybe they just don’t want people using their products with anything other than cash/credit cards.
Maybe there is some kind of security issue associated with using your credit card information on multiple platforms which is why they decided not to take the risk and say no from day one.
Whatever the reason may be, if you were planning on buying something from Apple, you’re going to have to find a new method of payment.
Venmo is a popular payment option for Millennials and Gen Z. Apple has been the top earner of mobile phone profits since 2012, but will they be able to maintain this position if they don’t start accepting new forms of payment?
In order to keep up with other companies in their industry, it may make sense for them to adapt their business practices.
If you’re looking for an alternative form of payment that’s accepted by all major retailers, including Apple stores, we recommend using PayPal or credit card payments instead!
