Del Taco, a Mexican-themed fast food chain with over 500 locations in the US, has been a popular choice for many people who are looking to grab some quick and affordable tacos. With so many different options available, it is easy to find something that appeals to you. But what about paying?
Does Del Taco Take Apple Pay? No, Del Taco does not take Apple Pay at this time.
If you need a taco fix and your friends want to start a bar crawl at a del taco, they’re going to have to either get cash from an ATM before coming in or wait until home for their next round of tacos.
To pay with your iPhone or Apple Watch, use the mobile wallet called Wallet to purchase Del Taco gift cards through the App Store on your phone.
These pre-loaded gift cards can then be used like cash at any participating location – my del taco for example! They also accept credit and debit cards during checkout.
Del Taco has been known to be a tech innovator in the past. In fact, they were one of the first fast food restaurants to offer online ordering and mobile payment for certain locations.
As such, we’re surprised that Apple Pay is not an option at this time.
We hope it will soon become available but until then you will have to use another form of tender if you want anything from their menu items!
