If you’re like me, you probably have a Costco membership and use it for pretty much anything. One of the questions I get asked often is “does Costco take Paypal?”
Costco does not currently accept Paypal as a payment method. However, any credit card is accepted for purchases at Costco’s various warehouses, and customers can also pay with cash, or debit cards.
Paypal is a popular payment method, even with those who don’t use it as their primary form of online commerce.
For some people, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks and they continue to use it. If you are one of these people or if you just want an alternative way to pay for your Costco purchases without using a credit card, there is good news!
Yes, Costco does not currently accept PayPal but that doesn’t mean you can’t find other ways to purchase goods from them.
If you’re a Costco member and want to purchase items online, then it is best that you use a credit card or debit card. This ensures your purchases are safe from fraud when ordering from the company’s website.
However, there may be times when this isn’t possible for some people. In these cases, we recommend using Amazon with Prime membership as an alternative option because they do accept Paypal payments on their site.
